we're all familiar with the linux on xbox project <http://xbox-linux.sourceforge.net>, now another excellent console mod and development platform has come to our attention, the GamePark32 ..nice name.. ;) [ed]

GP32 is not only a mini PC, but a feature rich modification and game development platform. for those wanting to get into console development that either don't want to pay for a proprietory dev-kit, or want more from a handheld than the GameBoy Advance, this is an ideal platform. it has a user-developer community freely sharing tools and techniques with a handful of games made or ported by users to try out.

the GP32 is an amazing handheld computer. here's some of the features:

it has a 32bit RISC CPU, 320x240 3.5" display, 16bit 4 Channel PCM wave mixing with MIDI support [wtf?!], USB port [for mounting on a PC], and Wireless [for multiplayer gaming]!!
