tate modern is the latest in chris cornish's repeater series of Red Faction Modifications. participants interact virtually with their present environment. installed within a gallery, the public can explore, interact or even destroy their present surroundings within the virtual game world. repeater questions what happens when the authenticity of the art institution is challenged by its own emulation
