Dynamic and inspired. Challenging and visionary. Provocative and groundbreaking. All these terms describe the Festival du New Cinema - Montreal (FNC). Recognized for its bold, eclectic programming, the FNC is a multidisciplinary happening that fuses mediums and genres. In keeping with its aim of promoting cinéma d'auteur, independent video, and creativity in new media, the FNC is constantly on the lookout for new and original works. Innovation and exploration are the guiding principles of the FNC's programming, which is divided into four main categories: International Selection, Special Presentation, Temps Zero and Open Source (digital work).

Reconnu pour sa programmation �clectique et audacieuse, le FNC est un v�ritable happening multidisciplinaire qui pr�ne la fusion des m�diums et des genres. � l'aff�t de cr�ations originales et in�dites, le FNC se consacre � la promotion du cin�ma d'auteur, de la vid�o ind�pendante et de la cr�ation dans le domaine des nouveaux m�dias. L'innovation et l'exploration s'imposent comme les lignes ma�tresses de la programmation divis�e en quatre grandes sections : S�lection Internationale, Pr�sentation Sp�ciale, Temps Z�ro et Open Source (cr�ation num�rique).
