hi julian,

i thought i'd post this before i'll continue animating the disks;

after editing the .n file there seems to be no need to translate the new disks into a new position...they're placed in a row already, but the two new ones are rotated 180 along Z so that the thingy points downwards.

is this some kind of gimmick in jEdit, or what?

hmm, i think i see where it went wrong.

in the previous tute, i asked you to download three disc files, however when writing this tute i decided not to use them.

instead just use disc1.n3d three times. what you may have done is thought the three meshes where there for a reason and setfilename disc1,2,3.n3d etc in each respective nmeshnode.

for this tute, just use the same disc1.n3d in each node and all three should be in the same position. the other disc2.n3d and disc3.n3d are positioned incorrectly when they came out of blender. i'll edit the previous tute so they are not downloaded next time.

Thanks for clearing that up, i've been staring at the .n file for some time but obviously didn't find anything wrong...forgot about those other models too
